Sorry this may get long;;;;;;
I have an AP and we are going to Disney in October for 10 days (well subtracting arrival and departure its 8 days) We booked 4 rooms for our trip as 3 other families are going with us. Now the question is for them,when should they get there passes? I have heard if they wait until they arrive at the hotel -ASSP they can purchase LOS passes then and maybe get the day of arrival and departure reduced from price---or should we just get the passes now? If so will the DC help us out? two us have these! What to do, what to do??? Also I was told that the flex feature of a free breakfast is not included unless we do the resort magic and that is not discounted! We got the room for 64.00 a night and yes I am trying for them to get them the best rate on passes also, any suggestions?:jester:

I would advise waiting and buying the Ultimate Hopper (formerly called Length of Stay) passes at check-in. There is no reason to put the money in Disney's pocket any sooner than necessary -- and you can ask the desk clerk to take the first and/or last day off the pass, which could save you a lot of money. The Disney Club will give you an additional discount and it applies when buying at check-in.

You should also take a careful look at what you plan to do during your stay. It might work out to be a better deal to buy Annual Passes, or even 7-Day Park Hopper Plus passes. The Ultimate Hoppers are expensive.
