I'm sure this has been asked about before but I can't seem to find anything doing a blanket search. We are considering a very last minute trip to DL/US/Legoland. I always get our WDW tix from UT so of course went on their site first to see about tix. Is this Go Card too good to be true? What's the catch? I called and they swear there's nothing shady, but it seems insanely cheap for what it gives you!

I think it's relatively new so there's little info about it. But nothing shady. The catch is that it's hard to do enough of the attractions given time constraints in order to make the cost of the cards worth it. And many times the discounts aren't necessarily as good as what's available elsewhere.

I don't think the card is that new; I've considered buying it in the past. We just never have wanted to do the things that are included.

In case Universal is on your radar, check your local Costco if you have one and have a membership. The other week our Costco had Uni Hollywood passes for a ridiculously good price.

We were planning on DL for probably 2 days, US for at least 1, if not 2, Legoland for 1 and DH wants to go to Knott's Berry.

We do have a Costco membership. How much were the tix there?

I'm not sure that they really are such a good deal. You'd have to research the places you plan to go. For example, they list the Magic Mountain ticket as having a $72.99 value. That's the price at the ticket booth, but you can buy them in advance online for less than $50, and possibly find a better deal. It lists Aquarium of the Pacific at $28.99, but that's almost always on Goldstar for $14 and $3-5 coupons or other deals are found all over the place, plus they sell a combo ticket with other attractions like LA Zoo or USS Iowa that would make it less than $28.99 too.

You're right the Go Cards are not new. I should have clarified that the attractions included on the card seem to be relatively new. At least I don't remember some of them being on it.

I am considering the go card. I have to really sit down and write out the list of places we want to see to decide if its a good value. Looks good at first but may find cheaper ways of booking
