Is this too good to be true? You can go to Universal up to 3 times, Knots and Legoland plus many other places. These 3 alone seem to make it a bargain!

If you pay rack rate (or the price listed on the websites for those top 3 places) I would end up saving over $100 plus getting lots of extra perks--museum passes, imax tickets, Santa Monica ride bracelet & aquarium, tours, zoo tickets, on and on.

Any feedback or "promo codes" to get discounts? Please share!

The only down side I can see is that you have to use them on consequtive days.

I am considering getting a San Diego one.

From reading their website--you have a 14 day period to use up the days you purchased. The 14 days start from the first day you use the card. It does not appear that you have to use it on consecutive days.

It's my guess that the go card is not very popular as not many people want to take time away from their Disney visit. This visit we want to go to Universal, Knotsberry and Leogland so it makes $$$ sense to us. We will be staying 2 weeks at the Grand Hojo so I went ahead and bought it with the $5 cancellation waiver. Hope I don't regret it! :confused3

I do not know when you are going or when you need to purchase your tickets but I read they do specials every couple of months. They just had a special 7 days for $199 adults, 159 kids, 5 days $179/$149, 3 days $149/$119. I will be waiting for another special to buy mine. I would be interested in a promo code but I do not think they offer them.

I know this post is a few days old, but I had the same question. The go card seems great value. You have 14 days to use it, and it includes Universal, Legoland and Santa Monica Pier which is all 3 places plus you can do multiple universal if you need to. Being from Australia, I am hope it is all legit??

We purchased the San Francisco one last year and it was a great deal and there was no hassle to use it at the various attractions. The City Pass booklets are also a great value.

I ordered them Tuesday and received them today. I picked regular shipping. I also got 15% off so it was a great buy with fast shipping.

I am so torned between getting the LA, San Diego or even the USA card.
Could anyone share what your plans are for the 7 day cards?

How many days is everyone planning for Universal? Would it be a good idea to go 3 mornings and combine with 2 afternoon of Hollywood stuff and the third at Santa Monica Pier?

Here is a 10% promo code I found to share: Zipcar
But it only works on non discounted cards.

Minnie and Me ......that is exactly what we are planning ! We are using the Go card to go to Universal in the morning and then go to Hollywood and do the Grayline Tours, Wax Museum, Guiness Book of World Records, Grauhman Chinese Theater Tour, etc. in the afternoons. I also want to squeeze in a visit to El Capitan Theater.

I found a great, fun, easy way to do this--use the Subway! We did it last year and it is the very next stop right after Universal. It took around 5 minutes or so to get there. There is even a free trolley right outside of Universal front gates that takes you down to the subway station area.

The day we do Santa Monica we are planning on going to the Griffith Observatory. I am getting so excited!

We are doing 1/2 days at Universal too. That way we can get all the tours in. This seems like a great discount. I just hope it works. :woohoo:

Hi - Long time patron on the WDW boards, BRAND NEW to the DL boards! I am SO EXCITED to be planning my family's first trip to DL next year. I'm getting an early start on planning (on all good Dis'ers do, right?). I feel so 'out of the loop' with how to go about with my planning. Right now I think we'll do 3 days at DL. We will probably stay about 8 nights total in the area. The LA Go Card is looking interesting to me. Some questions if anyone knows the answers:
I have ds who will be 7 and dd who will be 6. Can anyone recommend the 'best' attractions/tours/parks to do with kids that age? I'm thinking Universal is a must for a day or two. But other than that - Knotts maybe? I would love to do at least one of the tours, but would like the one that would keep them interested the most. Maybe the Aquarium of the Pacific. Any thoughts?

I'd put Legoland on your list for a start, also what about a day at the beach. If you google woody bus tours there is a great trip there. I read it on a trip report over on the uk site called DIBB, look under non-florida trip reports.

Universal will be good too, I took my DS to the Florida one when he was 6, I made the mistake of taking him on the mummy and he hasn't been on it since. That was the first ride he went on. He loves coasters, but hates rides with fires, so don't go on the mummy.
