A new ride there sounds like a good idea. Like I said, love the books and movie, just didn't feel like there was a lot to do there.
So, toon lagoon does seem likely. Can't wait to see how this all plays out. They'll definitely get my family back for more visits with all the updates that are being talked about on here!![]()
Well JP is one of those things that has always had expansion plans. They actually were going to have a helicopter tour attraction, but I believe the plans were too similar to Soarin'.
There was also rumors of a jeep ride which more closely resembled the movie.
Those are OLD rumors though and I don't know what they're planning right now.
Also, one reason why JP seems so barren is the fact that the Triceratops Encounter didn't last very long. It had a lot of nice walk-through themed areas which were really interesting IMO.
(Insider info: Ever wonder why the JP ride in Orlando and Hollywood is a boat ride that wasn't in the movie? I heard about the attractions plans before the movie was even completed. The JP Book had a river raft scene in it so my guess is that it was planned for the movie but never filmed...though the attraction kept it
