NOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I bought some and hate them. I think I don't lift my feet far enough off the ground so end up catching them every now and then on the ground. I bought the Bondi? ones where they are super cushioned and just not into it. I'm more of an Asics or New Balance girl.

Hi @Imzadi It's completely buried by now, but the only way to be active and change your name is to create a new account. But Corey was able to change my old name to something generic. What I didn't consider is I had active threads where the name change made it obvious to some people.

I never cared whether Disers knew. There was just someone off the Dis that was REALLY mad at me and blamed the Dis. I really didn't want them to immediately recognize me (and trust me they would have) and go back through years of posts. Most benign, but a few I probably regret now, but I'm not going back through years of posts. He, on the other hand, would have. The situation has changed and I'm much more at ease now.

Lots of people have created new profiles for various reasons. Mine wasn't to troll. I've been honest the whole way through and my closest friends recognized me immediately and for anyone else that did - ok! All there is to it.

I used to go to hookah bars when I was still in college. Doing the circles with the smoke like the caterpillar in Alice in Wonderland is harder than I had imagined.

You have to be careful with black licorice tho. I had a coworker need to go to the ER with breathing issues after eating too much.

I've never had that much, but I will say, if you have too much, it comes out green...

Coke all the way, Pepsi is a bit sweeter and it doesn’t hold the carbonation the same to me.

Are you meaning because people knew it was a 16-year-old in the talk dirty to me comment? The only reason I knew is because the avatar, what appears next to each message, (at the time) was an obviously minor girl. She had posted about being stuck in an elevator and if you hover over the avatar, it lists how old you are (for example, I can see that you are 73 by just hovering over "Jangles"). I normally wouldn't have noticed, but for some reason did on that one.

I had no idea. TBH I’ve always just assumed I was chatting with other adults.

BTW that doesn’t work on iPad which is where I log on.
