Loose fitting shoes on Sum Of All Thrills

Hello,

Sorry if this has already been asked/answered. Tried searching but couldn't find anything.

I know Sum Of All Thrills doesn't allow loose fitting shoes like flip flops.

Question is, what do I do with my shoes during the ride?

Videos online show the platform like sliding away for a few feet, under the floor. Does that mean I can't leave them right there by the vehicle like on Soarin?

Last time we did it you pull all your loose stuff in lockers.

Yes, right before you board there's a few lockers right next to the right. Any loose items such as flip flops, phones, hats, keys, etc go in there. They give you a key with a wristband that locks it and then you put the key on your wrist during the ride. Once you get off you open it and then give them the key back

the lockers are right by the ride so just a few steps away my bag was too big to fit in the locker so I just left it by the lockers and it was fine there really are not that many other people up there with you when you ride ( I would say maybe 15 and there are 3 ride things. there is a CM that operates the ride that is there too all thought he has to focus on you and the ride.

Thanks for the responses guys. I'll be sure to pack a pair of socks into my backpack for the ride. I don't want to walk barefoot where so many people have with shoes, even if it is only a few steps.

There's rumors it's going away soon since the sponsor didn't renew their sponsorship on the ride I believe it was. But the ride is still there and open
