First time planning a trip to FW and need a little help. We are going to need 1 cabin and 4 tent sites for a large group and are wondering if there are any loops to request?

There are no combined loops. It's either a tent/RV loop or a cabin loop. Now with that said, I think there is a path between the 1100 loop (tent/RV) and the 2100 loop (cabins)

I have a FW map on my site so you can see. Link below

There are two cabins on the 100 loop, and the rest of the spaces are campsites. These two cabins have nice landscaping and an outside rock fire pit. I don't know why these two cabins are there, and I had heard at one time that they were owned by some corporate sponsor, and reserved for their employees. However, on one trip a couple of years ago, some friends of ours reserved a cabin, and ended up being assigned to one of these cabins. You might want to ask about these cabins when making your reservations. The other way to do it is to try to get a cabin on the 2100 loop that backs up to the campsites in the 1100 loop. We did this one year, and it worked out great. I am sorry that I do not have the cabin numbers or the site numbers, but there are a few that back up to each other.

The two cabins in the 100 loop are not reservable. They are special use cabins for Disney. I would hazzard a guess that most CRO cast members don't even know they exist.

I read that they were reserved for disney bigwigs. I wonder if they will let someone use them if they are not being used by the bigwigs. Anyone know?

As I said in my post above, friends of ours spent two nights in one of those cabins. They did not reserve it, and did not ask for it, they were just offered it when they checked in, and they took it. This was after the original wilderness homes had already been replaced by wilderness cabins. The inside of the cabin was identical to the other wilderness cabins.

When looking at the map, it appears that a few cabins face the outside of the road in the 2100 loop making them closer to the 1100 loop. Does anyone know the actually cabin and campsite numbers?

Hey, We just returned from our Disney Vacation, and I had read your post before I left and I wanted to make sure that I responded because I was having the same problem that some other people are having with cabins beside campsites.
We stayed in Cabin Number 2122 and my sister and mom have RV's in loop 1100. There site numbers were 1109 and 1107. There is a short path that connects the sites together. We were beside each other and it was great!
Have a great trip!
