Loops for bigger RVs 35' & bigger

Hi All,

With the addition of a dog, my wife "made" me upgraded the RV. With the old TV I was not real concerned which spot I got, as long as it had trees. Now length and backing in around trees, posts and water spickets is the challenge.

Looking for recommendation your preferred or premium loops (pet friendly) maybe even specific large sites - Loop 200 seemed would be tight. I have youtubed loops, but seems hard to tell sometimes.

The premium sites are larger with larger turning entry,s, I would mention when making reservations what the size of your trailer is. If like us, the truck ( dually) is 22' by its self. Most loops have larger and some smaller so its best to ask before hand. Try fortfiens.net, they have all the loops by size, but remember you can not reserve a specific site or loop, but they have always been pretty good to us..

We have been in loop 500 the last two visits. No problems getting in the sites with our 35 ft 5'er and long bed crew cab truck.

We find the lower numbered loops, the old part of the campground, the sites a tighter together. We prefer the newer section. Less chance of someone being parked near the road and making it hard to swing the TV when backing in. Just our opinion.

I'd say your gut instinct is correct, 5stljayhawks.

Loop 200 is a Preferred, not Premium, loop and it has a sister loop in 100 that are both "a little tight". That's not to say with patience and persistence you couldn't get a big trailer in one of their sites but it's not as easy as a blindfolded single attempt.

The Premiums are 18' wide paved while all the other types are 12' wide. Premiums also are over 50' in depth in the middle and at the road flare out to a width of 34'. So they're plenty big.
