I mentioned this in another post and thought I would gather opinions about it.

Have you observed Loop Culture? Every loop I camp in is a little different. While I am in 2000 and 1500 the most I have camped in preferred lops 400 and 700 as well as 1200 and 1300 a number of times.

2000 is my favorite "culture" because it seems to attract the most diverse and social campers. I have had lots of sharing of supplies and open conversation. Some loops tend to get more retirees (400) and some have lots of kids all the time - 1500. I tend to see more "new to camping" families in 1500 and 1300.

Has anyone else seen patterns in who camps where and loop culture?

I have noticed a large number of dog owners in the 1600-1900 loops.

check out 1400 ...... definately a kid culture there....

check out 100/200....definately a prevost culture there

check out 300......definately a dog gone wild culture there

Never been, just bought our first camper on Thursday :cool1:.

I have one DD11 so I guess I need to stay in the 1500 loop with the newbies and kid cultures?? :rotfl:

1st trip to the Fort December 15th 2007  :woohoo: :dancer: party: :jumping1: (can you tell that I'm just a little excited???)

We've requested loop 300. What's dog gone wild? Poodles flashing their goodies? Labs playing beer pong? Jack the Shih Tzu wants to know if he needs to bring his lampshade.

I've also noticed, there aren't many motorhomes or 5ers or travel trailers in loop 2400.......

Were it not for recycling I am sure that my loop would have a lot more cans laying around.

Scott

Were it not for all my empties, I'm sure our loop would have more campers

i should bring my keg machine. would free up lots of space in the garbage.

OK GatorDad.

Which loop is the Keg machine going to reside in. That is a Loop culture I can dig. :drinking1

We're going to have a margarita machine in our second tent.

I am constantly pouring in Wesley Chapel, FL. Miller Lite however. I'll buy whatever Scott needs in bottles.

LOL, nothing like that going on here.:lmao:
there are lots of dogs though, some walk, some ride carts. i'm getting a kick out of all of them.
actually, the dogs seem nicer than the people here. ;)
maybe i expected more friendly people. other than winnie (olbear) and her neighbor, who were both very nice, most people aren't talking much. well, the night i burned popcorn, my neighbor finally talked, lol. the ones on the other side, haven't really spoken since we got here. it seems the people on the bus, in the different loops are really nice and talkative while you're on the bus.

haha, i'd love to see that Shih Tzu, lol. i work in petsmart grooming and have become fond of Shih Tzus!

Nothing, some people just don't like the dog loops ;)

300 is a great loop, we've stayed there a few times. It's great during the holidays, one of the most decorated loops I've found. Some of the sites are kind of tight for backing in, but overall it's pretty open.

We once had a site on the far northeast corner, it sits right next to a HUGE cypress tree. You also face out over the wooded/swamp area, it was one of the best views we ever had (although the space was a little cramped).

seen many topless dogs roaming 300.........

i was more surprised by so many that did have shirts on....

Hey, don't blame her, my wife made her wear it :P
