Need help to see if this loop will work for us. I have seen conflicting info about whether Loop 500 is a pet or non-pet site. Also, it looks like the loop shares the restrooms with Loop 400, so I'm wondering how busy the restrooms are. We have a 32 ft tt with two slides and awnings. We don't want to be in a pet loop.

Any suggestions or info to help us make our decision.

The 500 loop is considered a pet overflow loop. Chances are there will be some pets in that loop.....just not as many as pet loops. Two yrs ago during the winter we were in the 500 loop. The comfort stations were not busy at all....however we usually showered early morning (before 7am) or late evening (9pm)

When we went to WDW in April we stayed in the 500 loop, the restrooms never seemed crowded to us. There were pets in our loop albeit, not to many though.

Don't know about the restrooms but I've seen a couple of dogs go by in the last couple of days. Doesn't appear to be any problem but they are here. We are on the 500 loop as we speak...

Y-ASK

We have stayed in the 500 loop many times in the past and will do so again upon request in a few weeks.

It is a Preferred Pet Overflow Loop and depending on the bookings there could be no pets or lots, at least that has been our experience.

As with most comfort stations, the usage depends on your time of arrival.

My suggestion would be to request another loop.

100, 200, 400, 600 or 1400 for Preferred Non Pet Loop

1000, 1100, 1200 or 1300 for Full Hook-Up loop

Thanks everyone! We may end up trying another loop -- the idea of non-busy restrooms may override the pet loop.

We stayed in the 500 loop in October. The bathrooms didn't seem to be crowded, laundry either. I never had to wait for a machine, though I washed clothes after 8pm. We did see some pets, but it wasn't bad. Except for whoever didn't pick up after their dog and left it in front of our site for it to get smeared everywhere.

The one thing I would say is 500 is a bit tight. We have a 32' and it was tight getting in. Not because of the site per say but because of the narrowness(is that a word?) of the loop road. It was a little difficult to swing in with the motorhomes across from us. But we did it, and liked the loop. We didn't have a cart, but walking to the marina and to the pool area wasn't bad because you were kind of in the middle of both.

I could be wrong but 400 looked a little roomier. Have fun!
