Does anyone have any feelings about loop 1500 (either way)? Looking for a new spot and thought we'd give this one a try. July 09

Hi
We tent camped in 1500 in April and thought it was great. It is close enough to the pool to easily walk there (and the campfire, too). The bus stop and comfort station are very close. There aren't that many sites (21) so you are never too far from anything. The sand pads are probably smaller than the ones in 2000, but if you don't have 2 monster size tents, you should be fine.

Have a great time!
Wish we could be going with you!;)

We have tent camped in Disney twice and have requested the 1500 loop both times. It is very conveniently located (right across from the main pool and tennis courts). Just remember that it is partial hookup and does not include sewer (if you needed that). Can anyone comment on the upgrades that were done over the past year? I heard that they added cable TV to these sites.

Also, there are not guaranteed loop requests. The second time we went down the told us that the 1500 loop was full, and offered to have us pitch our tent in a "preferred" loop that was almost completely paved! :sad2: I suggested that it would have been pretty tough to hammer the stakes in. On a second review they found an opening in the 1500 loop. :woohoo:

The partial loops, 1500 and 2000, were not affected by the recent updates.

Yes, both 2000 and 1500 loops now have cable TV at each site. Just bring a 50' coaxial cable with you for the hook up and you are good to go.

Stayed in both Loop 2000 and 1500. Loop 1500 is much closer to Meadow Outpost, pool, and the Campfire. Loop 2000 has much larger sites than 1500.

Ooops, sorry. I was thinking about physical changes to the sites themselves... forgot about the addition of cable :happytv:

We have never stayed in the 2000 loop but 1500 is one of our fav places to park our popup.

Here is a link to a post that has all the loops on video.

That is AWESOME!!....wow! Thanks for taking the time to do all that, it really helps you to "visualize" a loop. I'm in the very early planning stages of a Fort trip and since we have a pop-up, I"m trying to decide between 1500 and 2000 (well, to "request" at least!).
