I think this ties more into the Disney theme. Yes, the CBR was nice, but this gives it a Disney feel
The Caribbean Beach Resort already has a 'Disney feel' with its 'Caribbean' theme, just like other resorts with Polynesian, Contemporary, or Wilderness themes. Decorating the rooms, as opposed to actual theming, with Nemo-inspired decor doesn't add to this theme - it detracts from it. Granted, a bed comforter and wallpaper border are relatively mild decorations compared to the tacky oversized icons of nearby Pop Century, but it remains a step in the wrong direction. Indeed, even the wallpaper and bedspreads at the All-Star Resorts don't feature Disney or Pixar characters in the room decor in the overt way they will be presented at CBR.
Don't mistake Disney decorations for proper 'Disney (resort) theming'. The Polynesian and Contemporary have an obvious theme even without a character image in sight; Placing a Lilo & Stitch comforter on the Polynesian's beds would do nothing to enhance the theme of the resort, but would actually detract from the intended overall theme of the resort.
The Caribbean Beach Resort is supposed to be a Caribbean-themed resort, not a Nemo-decorated resort.
My family always stays at the Caribbean Resort, and this past time we stayed in the new Nemo themed rooms. I think I like it better than the old decorations. Pirates theming would be better, but they also offer those, right? They're just more expensive... but just think- the rooms weren't really themed at all in the first place, so at least Nemo is there. (I guess he just got lost again in the Caribbean this time)
