I think this is just great. I'm glad Disney is doing something like this and basically right outside the door of our "home away from home".

When we go to a race there is a real family atmosphere in the air and I think it will be especially strong this time.

They actually recommend staying at WL on their website.

Needless to say I WILL NOT be doing the Ironman. It just so happens that we will be there staying at BWV at that time. Maybe I will look into viewing this race it sounds interesting.

They are even fun to watch.

It's hard to explain but it's very uplifting and it just makes you feel good to see all of those people coming across the finish line and their mix of emotions.

This just sounds so great because it is so close to VWL.
(plus it's another excuse to go back to VWL)

Thanks Florida Fam for the link! We won't be there that week but the following week so I checked on the Park Passes they are offering.

I know the Spec Event Park Passes have expiration dates, but the event travel agent had some pretty good prices on 2 day (not hopper) 3 day hoppers (no plus), and 4 day hoppers (1 plus)
Not sure of shipping prices or exp. date yet but I have an email in. If any one else is interested in this info, I will post the response i receive.



I hope they have this event again as DH is really interested.

What are you guys talking about....I do the EPCOT IRONMAN every year...ya know, when you go around the world and have a drink in every country....TWICE.....woooo hooooo, cowboy up for EPCOT IRONMAN 2004!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
