Looks like we will be getting a Wheel Chair

Awww...that's too bad. Hopefully y'all will still have a great trip! Look at it this way...she'll be closer to the ground to find all those bad shoes. ;)

I did not catch it if you went and got it xrayed? What if she has a fractured patella (knee cap) or anything like a ligament torn?

Hey, anyway...have a great trip! I am so jealous! I miss WDW so much! Tell DD that this will be a great way to do WDW in the wheelchair!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/15_1_64.gif' border=0></a> Take care and have a safe and wonderful trip!

This should be quite the educational experience for your DD and your DS's. I hurt my knee 10 years ago in a freak accident when we moved into our house. It gives an able-bodied person quite a different view of the world when their abilities are diminished.

I hope that you all have a wonderful time in the world!

if you can get Comfrey tincture, arnica tincture and witch hazel and mix them together they form what we call 'bruise juice'. Soak a pad in the juice and compress it over the knee for 15 minutes 3 times a day. It will eat away the bruising. This is a formula that is used in period reenacting for fighters (swords, etc) to get rid of bruising/swelling.

Good luck, I hope that your trip comes off as planned and I can't wait to see your trip reports!
