Looks Like Vero Is Sold-Out

There is a post on the AOL board that someone's guide told them Vero was now sold-out. I just checked the Member Site and the notice of "Vero approaching sell-out" is gone. So, it looks like it's probably true.

With SSR the only resort for sale and just about to open, it does seem like the time for them to raise the price again. So, my guess is that information is also true.

They still had enough early last month to offer me February UY points, but the Guide noted that Feb was about the only UY they had left at VB. So I can't say I am surprised at it. Plus they were offereing a really good deal: $84 a point, less $10 a pt incentive plus another $5 a pt if you gave up 1st yr pts: so the equivalent of a stripped contract for $69 per pt direct. Now maybe the resale prices at VB will start heading up.

On Feb. 14th my father tried to get the October Use Year that was mentioned on the website and we were told they were gone on Feb. 13th. But we were lucky to buy a new contract (150 pts) for a February Use Year.

For years it seemed Vero would never sell out. Thanks for the info Pam.

Last time we spoke with our guide there was only 377 Dec UY points left - after we were done there was 327 left - this was on Feb 24

2 weeks ago my guide had about 81 march use year left. sounds like they just have odds and ends left. Mostly add-ons and not full contracts.

As of yesterday......"March" use year was the only month with pts available at VB. This can change though with ROFR buy backs.
