Depends on how fast I would want it to go. I could another 5mph for as little as $200 offered to me from someone here on the boards(which is a great price) or up to a grand if I wanted to go around 35-40mph. I honestly dont mind the 12mph that I get right now, but Im the only guy in the neighborhood with a cart...and its been getting a ton of attention from the neighborhood dads, they're all stopping me and asking questions about it...so Im sure their will be a few more around here soon. Im sure my masculinity will feel threatened when the first one of these guys pulls up next to me in his new toy, chats for a minute...then leaves me in the dust to show me his power. I know thats immature, but I've never claimed to be a mature individual!!!

I thought the same thing, i guess this is why you have to initial 182 times on the rental contract for these carts

I agree with you totally. I like speed but me and the DW cruse the neighborhood
around 10 mph but with the bigger tires I have on it and the governor tweaked I am geting 25 mph. But I found a spring for $22.00 that will get me to about 35 mph. I just need to order it. If I was you I would wait till you really want the speed to spend that kind of money.
