Looks like it's going to be BUSY this summer!!

I have had our travel agent trying to book us a last-minuute trip to Disney June 22nd - June 30th and we can't get in! We were able to get the first 3 nights at AKL but couldn't get an EPCOT resort for the last 5 nights. We could have stayed all 8 nights at the AKL, but as much as we like it, it's just too secluded for us for a long amount of time. I was also on the phone with CRO and there were NO ap rates left, no concierge, and no deluxe resorts with openings...WOW! We wre hoping to go down and do more than just the parks - go to Sea World, ride the water mice, hang out, etc. but it looks like a no go. But the helpful CM I spoke with (Lawrence I believe) suggested that I try again the end of the week. We'll see... But it looks like the parks are going to be very busy this summer!

...and I was just on the Disney website and there are no moderates available during that time either! Wow, I have never seen it that busy!

We are going from June 25 to July 1. I am getting a bit worried now that I saw your note. I guess I am really going to have to look at what we want to do and just push for that. I know that we definatley want to see the new attractions. I am so glad that I already have all the food places booked. At least I know for sure that I will be eating good.

We normally go at the end of August and it is not that crowded. O my what are we in for???

I am havingt the same trouble! June 18-28. Our plans changed and I needed to add an additional room for my now coming mom and grandmaother, and there was nothing! After calling for a week, I have gotten them a room for the first five nights, but we are there for ten. Just keep trying i guess....

I had the same experience, we have 6 rms at present at the PORS and wanted to 1 more for the week of 6/25-7/2 and nothing was available at all
we are having a Grand Gathering and I think we will be spending alot of time with each other! There will 20 of us all family and no matter what
just being there all at the same time should be an experience
So far all the plans have gone smoothly thru CR and I hope the trip goes just as well, can't wait !

I just searched Expedia for that week and it looks like there are single days here and there and different resorts but everything is booked. disneyworld.com is showing that only Pop Century, Fort Wilderness, Saratoga Springs and Villas at Wilderness Lodge have openings for the days I plugged in. It does look like onsite will be busy.

I have read though that what you really have to worry about is offsite. If the offsites are booked sold, then you know we are going to be packed.
