Looks like Harry P. won't be open in spring?

Viewing the latest pictures of the construction of Harry Potter... is anyone else thinking that there is NO WAY it will be open this spring!? I was hoping they would get it ready for "spring breakers", or at LEAST by late spring... but I am really thinking it will be summertime. I really wanted to plan my trip B4 the humidity comes!

I don't know about that. The progress that they have made in the last two weeks is pretty incredible.

Nah...have faith...they will have it ready to go.

Just remember Spring doesn't officially end till sometime in late June.

The signs say May 2010. I see progress every time I go and I'm sure it'll be done in time to open in May.

Were you there recently? Anyone else confirm this? Even so,,.... it(the sign and opening date is NEVER "set in stone", unfortunately.

All their press releases say May. We go every couple of weeks and I've seen progress. Also they seem to always be working on it. I'm thinking positive that they'll have it open next May!

I thought the sign said May but it doesn't.

I haven't seen anything that says May. I have seen press releases that say Spring 2010.


I have heard that they recently added 10 Million to the budget to try to get it open early.

Hey y'all! I haven't been to Universal since the year it opened...and am soooooo excited to go to see the HP park. We usually go to WDW about 3 times per year...so, this will be a NEW experience for us.

Should I wait to book a package closer to the time that I will be going? NO WAY WILL I GO IN THE SUMMER, though!

I've been looking at the pictures myself. Every week I'm amazed how much they get done week to week. The outside of Hogwarts looks like it's getting close to being completed. Hogsmeade doesn't look to far behind either. I'm betting it will be open in Spring. I booked my vacation for October to be on the safe side. Let some of the new wear off and hopefully less crowded when we go.

We're also going in October 2010 so hopefully it will be open and functioninga nd the initial rush of enthusiasm will have died down just a bit. Anyone know whether Express will be available for HP?

I doubt that it will be available when it opens, but hopefully will be available later. When we were at US, last month, HRRR still wasn't using an express line, just standard and single rider.
