Looking to Rent points in October

Hi. I'm new here, and new to the whole DVC timeshare experience. We would love to get the chance to stay at one of the DVC's properties in October and I guess we can rent points from any DVC owner who is interested (?)

We will be at WDW from Wednesday Oct 6th to Sunday Oct 10th. I know it's preferable to get a Sunday - Friday week because the room cost less points (?) but unfortunately we are stuck in this schedule because of a wedding in Boca Raton on Sunday the 10th. We would consider making our stay be from the 10th to Friday the 15th if we could get a REALLY good price..but then we would forfeit our great plane ticket prices of $90 roundtrip from Albany NY to Orlando!!! (we must travel on tuesday or wednesday for this rate).

So in a nutshell, if anyone is interested in renting their points for that time period let me know!

Jason -- I'm sure this will get moved to the Rent/Trade Board. Good luck with those dates...there's very limited availability @ DVC resorts due to the Food and Wine Festival as well as Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party. Hopefully someone will be able to help you.

Now that I've surfed around this site a bit...I see that I would need 58 points for the stay that I want:

A studio at OKW for Wed Oct 6th through Sunday Oct 10th (4 nights).

Is there any availability for those dates and how would I find out if there is?

Only a member can check on availibility. I know we are trying to get a two bedroom from 10/9 to 10/16 right now and are on the waitlist. We have a one bedroom and need a little more room. Still only 4 people, but we'd like the space.

Check around and see if anyone has a reservation to rent for that time period. That may be your only chance.
