Looking to rent 2 points for Alaska cruise for July 2004

Hi everyone
I am new at this. We need 2 pts so we can do the Alaska cruise for July 2004. My DH doesn't want to do Aug 2004 Alaska cruise (we have Aug use year). I need info on how to do this.

Hi - are you DVC members? If so, can't you just borrow the 2 points from your next year's points.

Sorry we cannot borrow the 2pts due to we will be borrowing from the Aug 2005 use year. Now if we took the Alaska cruise in Aug 2004 and banked this current Aug use years pts then yes we could borrow the 2pts from Aug 2006 use year, but if we want to go on the Alaska cruise May-July 2004 then I would have to convert one of my nights in November to a cash resv (if its available to do so) or just rent the 2 pts from someone. I hope I haven't confused you.
