Yes, we've done a few character meals and they are always great. I know there is no way to convince DH to do one on this trip. He's notoriously cheap when the economy is normal ... and well you all know the state of things now. So, he will definately put up a big stink if I dare try to add any extras on. We are so typical.
That's okay though, with all of the wisdom on this board I have gotten enough good ideas that will not cost much if anything.
I am so excited! Here are the things that I think we will definately do:
Identify the edible plants- Okay this isn't the most exciting of the list but it's really cool and I think an opportunity to teach. It was a great idea!
Wake Jose in the Tiki room- what kid wouldn't feel like a big shot?
Try to ride in the Lily Belle
ABSOLUTELY do musical chairs with Alice
Pilot the Mark Twain
OFCOURSE the Animation Academy, I still can't believe we have never done this!
See Crush
Hidden Mickeys and Scavenger Hunt if I can keep everyone's game face on
Feed the ducks- kids really love this no matter where you are
and do the Grizzly Play Area- surprisingly we have never even walked through it.
I am going to check into the Segway tour but as I mentioned before DH will probably, even if I was setting it up for just him, freak out if I booked it. I am just going to check the prices...
Oh, and from advice gathered elsewhere on the board we have booked the BB everyday at 4:10 just for a cookie boat. I love the BB, always have, but have only been there 2 times in my life! Never as a kid because my parents would say it was too expensive and now because DH says the same.
Somethings never change!! I will not be defeated though! There's always a way around it- thanks to you guys!!
There are other things that look great, incredible and thoughtful advice. You all are really lovely- taking so much time to give of yourselves to advise someone you don't know. I am very touched, and really appreciate all of you!
