Looking to buy a week at the paridise pier in Disneyland from a DVC member?

How much would I pay a member of DVC for a week at the paridise pier in Disneyland March 23-29? What would be a good price, I don't want to pay to much, new to this DVC. I am not a member just would like to stay there cheaper. Antbody ever do this and is it a big deal?

If you went directly to Disney Travel, a cash room would be $1770 (Standard View, 6 nights), the same room would be 165 DVC points. Assuming you could rent at $10 a point, it's a close call.
