Looking to add-on and have a ?

I should know the answer to this, but I don't. We are looking to add-on 100 points when we go in a couple of weeks. Our UY is September. So if we bought 100 now (in May), would we get 100 2010 points (because we are technically buying in our 2010 UY) and then in Sept. get 100 more points?

yes, so long as they have it in inventory, you should get 2010 pts if you add-on now (and be able to bank them if you want).

Great, thanks. I thought that was how it worked but was not sure. We want to add-on at AKV so we should be OK with inventory.

If you have some time before you need those 100 points, you should consider the resale market. You will more than make up for the extra 100 points you may get from buying direct with the savings on a resale . . . even with buying a small contract. The savings may even allow you to consider a 150 point resale. Of course, resale points no longer allow use of the points for DCL, Concierge Collection or Adventurer, but if you only use your points for WDW, those perks may not matter. Disclosure: I do not work for any resale agencies, but I have recently done 2 small contract add-ons. With adding on 110 points, we have probably saved around $2500 versus buying direct.
