We are heading to WDW with our 11 yo son, 9 yo daughter and 7 yo son in October for 10 days and will be taking part in the YES program for the first time. Here are the classes we have our list narrowed down to:

(1) Principles of Animal Behaviour (for all three)
(2) Discovering Marine Life Conservation (11 yo & 9 yo)
(3) Experiencing Synergy in Science (7 yo)
(4) Exploring Disney Animation History (11 yo & 9 yo)
(5) How Things Move (7 yo)
(6) Properties of Motion Physics Lab 101 (11 yo & 9 yo)

We are looking to have them all do no more than 2 classes each. If anyone has attended any of these classes, I would love your thoughts and reviews (good, bad and otherwise)! Also looking for thoughts as to whether 2 classes is too many for a 10 day trip with 8 day tickets.

We are WDW veterans and looking forward to this new Disney experience!

Thanks!
Amy

Last October my odd and DH took the synergy in science class. They enjoyed everything except the Michael Jackson show. They also said they were little bored through part of it but over all they enjoyed the class.
We are returning this October as well. My ydd will take the synergy in science, my odd will be taking the marine class and my 13 year old nephew will take the photography class. I have no reviews on the marine or photography class but its Disney so I'm sure they will enjoy them.
As for taking 2 classes per kid, we probably wouldn't. I've managed to get these 3 classes on the same day, same park and same time. We enjoy the classes but don't want to lose too much park time. Just our personal preference though.
Have a great time! pixiedust:

We normally go for two weeks. A couple years ago we took two classes for just one son. While we enjoyed the classes it was a bit much trying to fit in three classes (two for one son, one for another). I can't imagine trying to fit in as many classes as you have scheduled. Better to save some for the next trip, right? :)

We took the Wild By Nature class in October. While it isn't on your list I thought I would give a brief review. Overall, we thought the class was extremely boring. My boys (10 & 12 at the time) became quite restless in the class and they are typically very good students. (Honestly, I was bored to tears as well.) We felt the class was very elementary for kids their age and it seemed to be tailored to a much younger audience. Plus the three hours was quite a long time to walk around with only the safari as a sit down time.

I would suggest that you be very careful with the class that you select. Don't book them in a class where they are at the top of the age bracket because they very well may be bored with a curiculum that is geared more for the younger kids in the group. Also, I would be very hesitant to book more than 1 class for them unless they are VERY interested in the classes. I woud hate for them to attend one and really not like it then have to go sit through another one.
