We plan on spending time at W&W (we have the multi park passes). Looking for any good insider DIS info!

One question....is it like many parks where you have to lug your rafts up the (very long by the end of the day) stairs?

We went there about 3 years ago. What a mistake. It was a concrete jungle. Overpacked, long waits and no where a tree or a bit of shade. Yuck.

Haven't gone back.

Good luck to you, though.

We went in July and my 13 year old and 17 year old sons thought it was a pretty good water park. We got there early and found a table in the shade where my husband spent most of his time. I on the other hand had a chair in the sun for when I wasn't riding. Like most water parks some of the rides required your hauling a raft up the stairs and some did not. I will tell you to get there early and ride the new H20 as soon as you get there!

We went with the Flex Passes a few years ago. It was the year that the Storm ride was new --I'm thinking 2001 or 2002.

Anyway, my kids enjoyed it more than Blizzard Beach. The thought BB was boring and Wet n Wild was better. No, its not themed nicely and has concrete, but the slides are "more fun and exciting".

Yes, you do wind up lugging rafts up unless you do the toboggan style ones where they are on a lift.

There is also Knee skiing (like water skiiing). Our last trip, this was free and included in price. Get in line for that early because that fills up in line fast.

The new ride (the music disco slide) is supposed to be pretty cool.

We were there the end of June, and I would have to say this is the WORST water park I have ever encountered. We all love the water and look forward to the waterparks each vacation we go on. The lines were excessively long, the water was dirty, and some of our lotions were stolen while there. We have been to Blizzard Beach twice, and I would say that is more bang for your buck, even though the Wet N Wild passes are included in your package- SKIP IT!!!!!!!

It's not a "themed" park but it's got some good water park rides. My 13 yr. old said the other day that when we go back to Orlando that we have to hit Wet N Wild again. My 17 yr. old thought the H20 ride was awesome but after noon or so it was packed! That was really the only complaint I had but then again July in Orlando everything is packed!
