Looking for the sold out MM American Flag Pin?

This is the large Mickey Mouse head-shaped pin with the American Flag. The cruise ship and parks were sold out.

Here is some info a CM gave me regarding that pin...You call them (Disney Merch Mail Order) , they put you on a "wish list". You give them your cc information. When they come in, they will be mailed to you. There is a limit of 2.

I purchased mine this summer when we went after the cruise. They had tons of them then. Since 9/11 they have been scarce. I wore mine proudly since 9/11 (forgot I had bought it before) and when I went to WDW two weeks ago I had people offering me money to buy it from me. People were going nuts trying to find them and none to be found!!!!

I was searching on e-Bay for another pin this morning and they had may for sale - you could try there.

Yes, e-bay would be the way to go if you don't mind paying $85 or more for the pin. It is pretty cool that DVC sent members 2 pins. I was really surprised to get ours in the mail.

Please don't pay $85 on eBay...

Last week, there was a big shipment of these pins that was sold out by Friday. I was told that more are due probably this week, but almost surely by November. They are not Limited Ed's and they are on order for the parks.

Just have a little patience, and look on eBay for the pins that are being offered at retail cost. It will happen!

I just got this pin from a friend who returned home from WDW a few days ago. She must have been in the right place at the right time, for sure! Soooo.....apparently they are available somewhere in the "world".

I got mine from cheappins.com. They were $4.44 and are now there for $9.97. I ordered 2 and they came really fast. You may try that.

We got our 9/11 Special Edition Mickey Flag pins with inscription from DVC earlier this week with a wonderful card requesting us to "Come Home" soon and a quote from Walt Disney about perseverance. They are a little different from the normal Mickey flag pins. They have more stripes. DVC is terrific. I initially thought it was for the cruise. We will be wearing our pins on the 11/10 Magic. A DVC guide told a member they only mailed them out to 20% of the DVC members before someone complained and they had to stop the shipments.

I can not believe that anyone would complain about receiving such a nice gift. I wish I knew who they were. On another thread it was mentioned that DVC members would receive champagne in their stateroom until someone complained (physically).

I can't understand people. They get something nice for free and complain. Even if they didn't use it they could have given it to someone who could, make a new friend, give it to their tablemates, or give it to one of the cm's or something.

I wonder what the complaint was, if it was an un-american, they didn't have to ruin it for others.

Boy! Am I glad I got my DVC pin before the complainer got to member services! We thought the pins were a real class act. Can't say that about the cheapskate grump who ruined it for other DVC members!

In fact, we showed my parents the pins and card. Everyone was really impressed with the quality of the pins and the fact that they came without a bunch of fanfare.

Just got back from Disneyland and have an extra one of these pins that we would be willing to trade. They put them out by the bucket full and inone day they were gone.

They were quite plentiful in DisneyLand in CA last week. Try calling DisneyLandDelivears and ordering one maybe.
