We will be going to OKW for the first time using our points for the first time also. I have not requested any specific room yet. Could anyone give me any advice on the best locations. Like what is close to the pool area, bus stops, food court. Should I ask for a top floor? We have a 4 yr. old.

I prefer builing #52 because it is close to 2 pools and the bus goes thru the parking and you hear it and still have time to get to the bus stop which is right out side your door. I always stay at this one with my children who when I started going were young.
The OKW does not have a food court only a restaurant and a snack bar at two of the pools
Hope to see you there some year.

we liked building 16 close to hospitality house

I would not request a specific room, but a building. Look at the map in your OKW information and choose a building that is close to the pool and bus stop you want to be near. FYI, the bus stops at Pennisular Road first, then South Point, then Turtle Pond, Miller's Road and Last at Hospitality House. We prefer either near Southpoint or Hospitality house. South Point is near the DD walkway, and Hospitality House is the last stop, so no driving through the resort. We always used to like the Miller's Road area, but the one bedrooms there don't have a second entrance into the bath, so we don't like that if we are in less than a 2 bedroom.

I have an opinion on that one too! If you plan to go every year, think about planning your trips just under 12 months apart and buy annual passes. Last year we had 29 days on our annual pass! That means we spent about $10 a day for parks! The price has gone up now, but it is still a good deal. I would not do the premium annual, since you would need to spend quite a few days in the water parks to make that worth it. The general rule is that if you will be in the parks 8 days or more, the Annual Pass is the best deal.
