Here is our schedule and dining plans..

Th - Arrive and eat at POP (CS)
F - MK - 2 counter service meals
S - Epcot - Lunch at Coral Reef/Dinner at CS location TBD
Sunday - DHS - Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine/Dinner CS location TBD
Monday - AK - Lunch Yak & Yeti CS/Tusker house Dinner
Tuesady - Water park - Lunch-CS/Dinner Boma
Wed Epcot Breakfast - Storybook princess Akerhaus(sp?)/Dinner Teppan Edo
Th MK - Lunch CS TBD/Dinner Crystal Palace
Friday - Lunch????
Flight leaves at 453, I assume about we would leave the resort between 130-2pm for Magical express (confirm or deny if you know :lmao:)

Ok here is my situation - If I do the dining plan (only way we will eat at this itinerary) - I have one TS meal left for lunch on day of departure. I am currently thinking of Kona or Wolfgang puck

However I am considering having lunch at Earl of Sandwich and adding another TS meal somewhere else.

Couple things to consider -
AK day - Thinking of dropping Tusker House and adding Yak & Yeti TS for dinner and eating CS for lunch

So I could add a TS at our first day of MK (probably a dinner) but I don't hear too many great things about MK TS

I could add dinner at DHS at either Sci Fi or the 50's place. I want to make sure we have enough time at DHS. We do plan to see fantasmic and we have breakfast ressies at 830 at H&V. So probably early dinner somewhere

at AK - I could eat Y&Y TS for lunch and Tusker house for dinner and skip any CS there that day...

So what do you think

First question - Earl of sandwich the last day or TS?

If EoS - then where should I add a TS throughout our stay?

DD is 3
DSD is 14

DD does have milk and peanut allergies (which I know they will take care of - but just incase it impacts your suggestions)

DSD is a pretty "plain" eater - when we go out she normally orders chicken tenders/fried shrimp/burger with occassional fried fish. Likes mac n cheese and soup - nothing "fancy"

Thanks!

IMHO, Earl of Sandwich is a great CS value. One of my favorites!

You could swap one of your MK CS for a TS on your 1st MK day. Hop on the monorail and go to The Wave at the Contemporary (another favorite!)

My son also has milk allergies, and the chef at The Wave made him a special meal that was delicious. The kids' meals are not exotic: chicken strips, cheeseburgers, pasta, etc.

We did Earl of Sandwich on our last day last trip. It worked out really well! We went to DTD, got a few last minute things at WoD, swung by Earl of Sandwich and got lunch, brought it back to WL and had a beautiful last lunch at Disney before getting on ME. If it was me, I'd work another TS into the trip and use the CS for EoS on the last day. Have a great trip!

Instead of MK dinner first day, monorail to the contemporary for dinner at The Wave or the Poly for Ohanas. Both are better than the TS at MK.

Here is our schedule and dining plans..

Th - Arrive and eat at POP (CS)-Good choice~ :thumbsup2
F - MK - 2 counter service meals-I suggest Clombia Harbor House and Cosmic Rays
S - Epcot - Lunch at Coral Reef/Dinner at CS location TBD On your CS at Epcot I would suggest Sunshine Season's, they have the best selection and GREAT dessert choices! :yay:
Sunday - DHS - Breakfast at Hollywood & Vine/Dinner CS location TBDMonday - AK - Lunch Yak & Yeti CS/Tusker house Dinner
Tuesady - Water park - Lunch-CS/Dinner Boma You can't go wrong here! You'll love BOMA
Wed Epcot Breakfast - Storybook princess Akerhaus(sp?)/Dinner Teppan Edo
Th MK - Lunch CS TBD/Dinner Crystal Palace
Friday - Lunch???? You can always eat at POP again, this will make things easier on you and by then you'll be so tired this might be your only option because the family will want to string you up for dragging them somewhere else one more time.
Flight leaves at 453, I assume about we would leave the resort between 130-2pm for Magical express (confirm or deny if you know :lmao:)Pretty sure your right about this.

Ok here is my situation - If I do the dining plan (only way we will eat at this itinerary) - I have one TS meal left for lunch on day of departure. I am currently thinking of Kona or Wolfgang puck
We usually do our extra ADR during the trip, not at the end. Your so tired and so strung out from the trip that going to one more place is actually a bit of a hassle. IMO.... Besides, you really don't have as much time as you think before hopping on your bus to leave for the airport on the last day. That is unless you want to get up pretty darn early having packed from the night before to catch another ADR for breakfast. If your family is an easy one to get up early (which even a good morning person will have a hard time with this on the last day :scared:) than breakfast at Crystal Palace-MK before the park even opens is a great one-you could catch a few rides before heading back to the POP and then airport... And so is Grand Floridian's 1900 Park Fare, this is probably our most favorite breakfast next to Crystal Palace.
On your DHS evening you could add that extra ADR to your dinner meal and go somewhere else your thinking about eating-either at DHS or somewhere else. Hop a bus to Epcot, and eat there or hop the monorail and go to MK-Tony's is pretty good for Italian food, Liberty Tree Tavern has decent food and an outstanding dessert that everyone should try! Ooey Gooey Toffee Cake. :cloud9: Or you could eat at the WAVE in the Contemporary hotel, (heard wonderful reviews about this place from friends and it will give mom and dad a little adult atmosphere over all the kids places all week) there's always Ohana's at the Poly. This place has something for everyone there. I know your daughter likes fried shrimp, maybe she'll try the shrimp they serve.
We've decided to pick at least one place that my DH and I wanted to eat and the kids may just have to lump it if they don't like it. The whole trip is geared for them any way! We picked Le Cellier, don't think you'll be able to get this one on this short of a notice.

However I am considering having lunch at Earl of Sandwich and adding another TS meal somewhere else.-If I could suggest something else about your idea here....If I were you, I would make our first day there your day to eat at Down Town Disney, then you could eat at WGP or EoS, do a little shopping and get into the spirit of WDW before you even hit the parks the next day. This is what a lot of people do to get into the spirit of being in Disney World! :yay: If you get to your hotel early enough you can relax, maybe even cat nap, swim and or just even check the place out. Then hit Down Town Disney for an early evening meal and then back to the room for an early nights rest. To many people hit the ground running and don't get enough rest time, of course, since I don't know when you all get in and if it's kinda late than eating at the POP is a great idea and then making it an early night, trust me you'll need this early to bed night on the first night.

Couple things to consider -
AK day - Thinking of dropping Tusker House and adding Yak & Yeti TS for dinner and eating CS for lunch-Great counter service is Flaming Tree B.B.Q, not a lot else here besides Pizza Safari-Decent but not great! Although they do have an amazing place to sit and eat inside, but then so does Flaming Tree if you go around the outside and sit at one of the gazebo's. :cloud9: They have fans, you'll need one.

So I could add a TS at our first day of MK (probably a dinner) but I don't hear too many great things about MK TS-There are a couple of places that aren't bad, but it's the monorail advantage you need to be thinking about if you don't want to eat TS at MK-I've already mentioned the places I think would work above. Tony's and Liberty Tree Tavern are pretty good in MK. And if you like sandwiches or really good burgers and good ice cream The Plaza is very good... Along with Crystal Palace for Dinner, but I think you already have this one.

I could add dinner at DHS at either Sci Fi or the 50's place. I want to make sure we have enough time at DHS. We do plan to see fantasmic and we have breakfast ressies at 830 at H&V. So probably early dinner somewhere
Early dinner here is a great idea, if your watching Fantasmic then 50's Prime Time is good. Mama Melrose's doesn't get top reviews, but it does have good food. You just have to know what to get. The steak there is outstanding! And the Chicken Parm was pretty good. Their flat bread anything is really good. And their desserts are very good. Mmmm They also have great appetizers but you'll have to pay out of pocket for these on your dining plan.

at AK - I could eat Y&Y TS for lunch and Tusker house for dinner and skip any CS there that day...
This is a great day to eat at Boma's. :goodvibes I'm so glad your not allowing your kids to sway you away from trying this place. In my opinion this is one of the best places (non 2 credit meals) to eat on Property. There's so many great choices!! I love being able to try all the different things here! :yay: The great thing about a buffet is you can try small amounts of things and then go back to for more or try something else if you don't like it.

So what do you think

First question - Earl of sandwich the last day or TS?

If EoS - then where should I add a TS throughout our stay?

DD is 3

DD does have milk and peanut allergies (which I know they will take care of - but just incase it impacts your suggestions) All of these places will have a chef come out and help you with this, you'll be sooo impressed by this. I know Boma's is outstanding in this department.

DSD is a pretty "plain" eater - when we go out she normally orders chicken tenders/fried shrimp/burger with occassional fried fish. Likes mac n cheese and soup - nothing "fancy"

Thanks!

I hope you have an amazing trip!! :wizard: If you have any questions PM me.

Thanks so much for the detailed response! A couple of things...

I am not a fan of leaving the park to go to TS meal because I think it wastes too much time. Although going to BOMA on the day we go to AK isn't a horrible idea.

We won't have park hopper for my DD so switching parks midday isn't an option.

I am interested in a couple places at DHS but that is the park I am most afraid we will run out of time at. MK and Epcot we are spending 2 days at. AK is open late the day we are there and I know it isn't a full day park anyway (or doesn't have to be).

I also want to get the most out of my dining plan. I figure if I am paying for it I might as well get my money's worth.

Thanks for the info on the last day I think you are right something simple may be better. Although I do hope to do some shopping that day but I guess those that don't want to shop can rest :)

We get in to orlando at 5pm on our day of arrival however my DH is taking a later flight and won't be in till 11 or 12. Therefore we planned to just take it easy and get dinner at POP and rest or do the pool thing.
