Just what the title says--looking for suggestions of what to do (if anything) while visiting Tortola--without breaking the bank!

We've done the Dolphin Encounter and we did an excursion to Virgin Gorda to do the Baths. You should see the Baths--they are pretty cool, and Virgin Gorda is BEAUTIFUL.

We did a 2 hour island tour (without a beach break) that we enjoyed. It was $20 per adult and $10 per child. They are available at the end of the shops by the port.

Take a cab to Cane Garden Bay beach. $8 a person each way. 15-20 minute drive. Beautiful beach with facilities, restaurants...

We did the Island Drive and Beach Break last week. https://disneycruise.disney.go.com/port-adventures/tortola-virgin-islands-drive-and-beach-break/

It was $42/adult which wasn't bad. It was a good excursion but not great. The drive around the island made a lot of people on the bus pretty nervous, as the roads are very narrow and there are some steep hills and sharp turns. My 3 year old and I thought it was fun, though. We had about 1 1/2 hours on the beach. The stop at Sky World was kind of weird. There was a good view, but it's really just the roof of a bar. There was water all over the roof and bottles of beer laying around. My son, who turned 3 that day, even said "What is this place? It's DISGUSTING!".

Tortola is falling on ODS's 12th Bday so we are springing for Aristocat Charters. I am going against my own advice and not doing a direct Disney excursion but the reviews are just too phenomenal to pass up.

Highly recommend excursion from Patouch.....

Check it out, we did it and had a great time....

dsdeleon - when are you taking this charter? I've been googling it since I read your comment and am super interested to know how it goes. I'm sailing in September and my daughter isn't old enough for many of the excursions but I could possibly take her on this one!

We took the shuttle cab to Cane Garden Beach as well. Once there you can rest life vests from one of the vendors, which is super awesome!

I'd love to hear more too. The Artistocat website doesn't list a price for the private charter. If you don't mind sharing, I'd be interested to know what you were quoted.

The web site lists $120 per person for the group sail, ages 2-10 $60.

We are going after you guys (2017) so I won't have feedback. We are going to do the group sail ($120 over 10, $60 under 10) not the private sail ($1200 for up to 8). All I can say is that they have been super nice to deal with over email and the reviews are amazing.
