My daughter and I are planning a trip to WDW 11/9-13. Going to Epcot 11/10, AK 11/11 and tyennMVMCP on 11/12. Will be required to do a split stay. Can do either 11/9 at Swan and switch to Poly studio on 11/10 for rest of stay or 11/9-11/11 at yacht club and then 11/11-11/13 at Poly. Thinking latter may be best as we could pack that morning and head to ak while having bell services move our luggage instead of moving in the middle of our Epcot day or at the end of a long Epcot day. Any advice'

I would definitely recommend Yacht Club! The resort is beautiful and it is a closer walk to Epcot than the Swan (the boat is also available to both resorts). You can also use the Magical Express staying at the Yacht (not the Swan) so you wouldn't need to rent a car. Also having Disney move your luggage is much easier than doing it yourself! Makes for a pretty seamless hotel switch so you won't have to loose time in the parks. You'll also get two sets of magic bands for the Yacht/Poly, which is nice because you can choose different colors. I think the pool at the Yacht club is one of the best.

Personally, I would do whichever is cheaper. You'll need to factor in the cost of a car/cab to the Swan (if you are flying in) as you won't be able to utilize DME there. Otherwise, the Swan will transfer your luggage to Poly, so you could leave your luggage with Swan bell services in the morning, head to EP and simply monorail over to Poly at the end of your EP day.

I agree with this, just go with whichever one is less. I love YC, it's my favorite resort on all of WDW property but I always stay at whichever Epcot resort is less.

I think I would go with the Yacht Club. Having the luggage moved for you is a bonus, and I do think it would be better not to have to move in the middle of your Epcot day. Plus it's a great resort! We love the pool there.

They won't have to move their luggage in the middle of their EP day. Swan will transfer the luggage to Poly. They can simply finish out their day in EP and head over to Poly whenever they're ready to leave the park.
