Hi Everyone, I'm looking for some London travel advice, if you would be so kind. The New England Patriots will be coming to England to play an American Football game at Wembley in October. It's also DH and my 20th anniversary this year, so we're toying with the idea of a trip to see the Patriots.
DS and I were lucky enough to be in London and Manchester this past August with his soccer team, and we did get to see the Community Shield game at Wembley, so I did get a little bit familiar, but not much. While we were in London we stayed at a Holiday Inn in Kensington, that was pretty close to a Tube station. I loved the neighborhood we were in, and would consider staying there again. I'm wondering if we'd be better off in another part of the city for sightseeing, etc, or out more towards Wembley (although there did not seem to be much in that area).
From my VERY limited experience the Underground seemed very easy to manage and navigate, so as long as we are in an OK area, with access, we should be OK, yes?
