hello,

we just spent a week at Disney World over the holidays.

We are returning in February with a school group.

The school group leader hasn't done much planning, she just went along with the "package" that was sold out-of-the-box for the attendees.

There will be about 25 students, 20 parents and 5 school officials in attendance.

Their schedule is packed pretty tightly, but on the evening of 13FEB they will have some free time at Epcot.

I am looking for something for the whole group to do as a group experience. Whether it's a meal, activity, dining experience, whatever, doesn't matter. The only caveat would be that it would need to be something that is paid for the day of; (I read that in some cases, dining experiences need to be paid for up front or will be charge x amount if part of the party doesn't make it, etc.)

Any recommendations on what 30-40 people can do together at Epcot on February 13?

You could make 3 separate Teppan Edo ADRs. I think the tables can seat 8, but maybe you could squeeze one more in for 25. Or you could call Group Dining and see what they could do for you.

It's a nice group experience and perhaps something new for many in your group:

Sorry, I thought you had 25 people in the group. You might still be able to make it work.

With that big of group you might consider a group snack run on the bakery in France. You could take orders so that not everyone has to stand in line.

biergarten is a buffet in germany so there will be a lot of options for different tastes.
It also has long tables so everyone can all pile in together.
And there's also german band entertainment and a dance floor area for everyone to have fun.
I think it would be a fun place for a larger group.

Anything that would include TS ADRs would have to go through Group Dining. The regular ADR booking system will not take bookings that large. You could call them to find out which restaurants could handle your group. Could be very difficult at this late date.

Trying to do a CS meal all at once with that many people would be extremely problematic, the least of it being trying to find seating for that many people all at once.

Realistically, given the size of your group, it would be very difficult to organize anything other than a meal, especially if you don't want to incur any upfront charges.
