Santa Fe is a gorgeous town about an hour north of Albuquerque via Turquoise Trail and worth the trip IMO. Make sure you stop by Wupaki ruins on the way into GCNP. Black Barts in Flagstaff is a treat! Safe travels!

I agree on stopping by Wupaki--just some gorgeous views there! Also, Flagstaff is a just a neat little town. We love the Little America Inn there and don't forget about a possible visit to the Lowell Observatory too!
