Hello everyone! I posted here like 6 months ago and found a fantastic roommate for the last 6 months. She's now leaving and so is one of our other roommates so we now have 2 spots to fill in our house.

Here are the details:

Rent is 320 a month for your own room, 250 if you want to share the master bedroom with someone else.

Utilities (cable, wireless internet, electricity, water) come to between 50-100 a month (obviously based on AC usage mainly). You'd be splitting the utilities and cost to maintain the house, and basic amenities like paper towels and toliet paper.

I personally (have my own room) have not paid more than 400 dollars a month for rent.

There's furniture for the common area and if you want the former roommate's bed that's available too. You'd have to furnish the rest of the room yourself.

The house is in a gated community right behind Magic Kingdom called The Preserve. It literally is 1 minute away (driving) from the Magic Kingdom cast parking lot (you don't get closer than that).

For any of you who are more into the entertainment side of living, I provide the house with a 46" Sharp Aquos tv, as well as a Wii, PS3, XBOX360 as well as a fairly good game and blu-ray collection. Also a 7.1 Surround Sound system.

We're all really nice people and all are working full time at Disney, we all just graduated last year (or this year). Girls or Guys are welcome, FYI one of the current roommates is a girl and is going back to school, she can vouch for us :).

Anyways please let me know via email if you're interested. Please leave your phone number and I can call you back. We are looking for roommates for the next 6 months, with a possible extension if you guys are interested (our lease for the house is being renewed on a 6 month basis).

Thanks guys!

Sam

Hey! I sent you an email- I'm definitely looking for housing for my PI! I sent it to both email addresses on your profile, because I wasn't sure which one you would check :)

I think we have one spot filled now, there are some others interested but you're welcome to get in line if they choose not to stay with us.

IF you haven't heard back from me please email me again if you're still interested. For those people who I responded to, please respond back, it's hard to wait 3-4 days to tell someone who sent you an email that you're waiting on someone else.

lol wow, kind of dangerous looking for roomies on the net.

Actually not always, I moved into a townhouse with three other girls I met on facebook and we all get along really well and have a great time. It really all depends on where you go and how you look at it.

I've found roommates on the internet and my current host-family/employer all the way in Germany (I grew up near Chicago). I've not had any problems yet. Whoever said it depends on where you look is spot on! Use good judgment, get references, and don't make any abrupt decisions...you're usually okay, at least as far as safety is concerned. You may find that you aren't the most-compatible of people, but that can typically be handled with little effort...
