Hello! Is there a thread here or an external website that lists dates for hotel refurbishments? I realize that they keep them hushed, but looking to estimate impact of refurbishment at deluxe and moderate hotels at end of July (full swing vs mostly done, full construction vs just soft goods). TIA!

They don't keep them hushed. If you go to the individual resort pages on the WDW site they tell you if a refurbishment is scheduled.
I'm looking for more information than what the Disney website has so that I can tell which resorts during my dates would be most impacted with extensive renos / construction and which ones it may be minor. Also, which ones are expected to be taking place in 3-4 months, but have not yet started.

Conceptually it’s a good idea, but after my brief time down the rabbit hole, I know that it would be impossible to be on top of in real time. To put it in perspective, I have a trip in 2 weeks, and I’m not even sure if the room I booked will be available.

For example, BWI CL is under refurb. Was supposed to be done and open 4/28. Now, it might be 5/1, but nobody has any ideas. Will the rooms be done? Will the lounge be open and fully function? BWI CL Deluxe and Suites were to also be open on 4/28, but other than cancelling all bookings through at least mid-May, there is no idea when they will reopen. That is just one small segment of one resort, so across all of Disney property, it would be mammoth.

Not to mention the sudden BC refurb but the BC Villa delay.

At BWI? That’s awesome! I hope it means they are closer to being done!

We had a 2 BR CL for 5/13 and they cancelled and I believe another poster had a Deluxe around 5/12 get cancelled. So hopefully that means that they will be back up and running around the 15th!

ETA - maybe check the app to see if it changed. The poster I mentioned above said that they were moved in the app from BWI to Poly.

Knowing that a refurbishment is supposed to be completed at the end of April is very helpful info that is NOT listed on the WDW website. I do assume they may run behind by 1-2 months.

It's also helpful to know *what* is being refurbished. Major difference between just rooms, a block at a time, vs refurbishments to common areas / pools / restaurants with screens and scaffolding blocking rooms occupied.

The BC refurbishment - I found out through here. It's not listed on the WDW site at all. Would love to know more about *what* it entails. Would be great to be able to have all of these nuggets compiled somewhere.

Cheers!
