Looking for rental location help and ticket ?

We are planning our first trip and want to rent a house. What areas are under 1/2 hour to US, Sw and DC?

Also, I saw on Undercover Tourist a 3 park unlimited Universal Ticket good for 14 days from first use. Does anyone know if you can only get that option on their (UT) website? I didn't see anything like it other than the flex pass on Universals website.

You can call Universal Orlando and get that pass as well.

I don't know about houses, but we've stayed in 2 bedroom units at Hilton Vacation Club Tuscany (1215 sq feet). I think the Hilton Vacation Club Sea World has 3 bedroom units. They aren't that expensive to rent or if you know someone that has RCI points you could rent, it could be even cheaper. Just an idea.

We rented a house a few years ago that slept ten that was about 10 mins from Sea World, 15 to WDW and 20-25 to Uni from VRBO. It was very nice and worked well for our 15 day vacation. About $90 per night last week of July/first week of August with a private pool. The address listed as Kissimmee, FL. A very nice couple from UK owned it and I was shocked when the price was not inflated for summer season. That was 2012, so it might be a touch more now, but only about $1500 or so for 2 weeks plus was a steal.
