Looking For Plaza Restaurant Reviews

Does anyone have any reviews about the Plaza Restaurant in the MK?

We went there on July 3. It was okay. I was surprised by how small the restaurant was. They took us early and the place was never filled. On July 3! We all had sandwiches: Club, turkey or reuben. Potato salad was good. My club was, and the others liked their sandwiches as well. Our CM was lacking. Another CM I completely felt so sorry for! There were these obnoxious people who let their children practically throw their entire plates of food on the table, let them run around (and they were right by the service doors! They about caused an accident every other minute), and then wouldn't have their children sit down. I've never seen such a mess.

Would we go back? No. Was okay, but the appearance of the CMs overall was messy and it wasn't anything I would look forward to.

My DH & I always go to the Plaza for either lunch or dinner. I found the food to be really good. I love the sandwiches and the chocolate shake.

I can only handle so many buffet meals. The Plaza is a wonderful place.

We had dinner there our first night. It was nice and refreshing. It was pretty busy when we were there but not overwhelming. Dd had the kids grilled cheese, Dh and ds had cheeseburgers and I had the turkey sandwich with the german potato salad. They each had shakes and the waiter brought out what didn't fit in the shake cup. It was all really good for sandwiches, tasty and fresh, service was good. We enjoyed it. It was a nice start to our vacation and I plan on eating there again. It's a wonderful break from big meals and more formal type restaurants.

It is TS, but serves lighter fare. Look at the menu over on allears. I find the atmosphere SO relaxing. We are always able to get a last minute ADR. We have always had wonderful service, too.

Someone said "refreshing" and I would agree. We have always had an ADR at the perfect time....we are hot and hungry, need a seat to relax, need AC, and need a break from the crowds and Plaza has always delivered!

The sandwiches and salads are good and big portions. SAVE ROOM for dessert as the sundaes, Brownie or Plaza, are AWESOME (drool, drool). It is the perfect way to recharge! Make an ADR....each time we've gone they have said at least an hour wait for walk ups.

I did make an ADR for 6:30pm for dinner at our last night in the MK. DW is a pickey eater, and I did notice that they have grilled chicken on the menu. I received a few post that the grilled chicken is plain....just the way she likes it. I'm sure I can order it without the ham and cheese topping.
