Hi.

This is probably the strangest question of the week/month. Does anyone have a photograph of the sliding door to the toilet in a one or two bedroom villa at VWL? It's a barn-type door that slides on a track.

We have a project in NH where this door would be perfect. Thank you in advance.

it is a great feature / space saver ... i was thinking where we could implement that and some other amenities into our house...

unfortunately, no pics from our trip earlier this month...

maybe someone is going soon and can help you out?

I've never been to VWL but it sounds as though you're describing a pocket door. You may want to search under that name.

I can;t seem to figure out how to post the pic without having it already on the net. But if you send me an e-mail, I can then send it to you. I have a picture of the closet off the bath with the "pocket door"!

we just stayed in a 1b at VWL a few wks ago

From what I've heard there are two different designs for the bathrooms at VWL. Some have a door to the toilet, and some don't. I've only stayed in a studio there, so I can't answer from experience.

Hi.

This door I'm describing runs on an exterior track. My understanding of a pocket door is one that "disappears" in the wall.

We were there in Sept, 1 br villa. The door looked rustic/barn like, but they were regular hinge/swing doors.

Looked through the old photo archive, and I have the door, but I took the picture with it open so you could see inside to the commode.

Hope it still helps - I wish they used this design at BCV - that place has too many DOORS! :teeth:

Interesting! In our 2 bed. at VWL we didn't have a door on the toilet at all. Our bathroom was wide open, the toilet was next to the sink, and you needed a 3 foot reach to get to the toilet paper. The area where that toilet sits in the photo was completely empty in our bathroom. I thought it looked kinda like an odd wasted space.

Hi

I didn't realize that some didn't have a door at all. I assumed that they were all the same. Thanks.
