Looking for P&S camera

I'm looking for a pockersized, point and shoot digital camera that is for a camera newbie. It's not that I haven't taken pictures, I just don't know a whole lot about it.

I'm looking to spend about $200 and want a relatively quick point and shoot. I don't want to wait very long until I can take the next photo. Does that make sense?

I mainly use my camera for inhome photos of my grandson and taking both day and night photos at WDW.

I just ordered this camera from B&H. I have not had the chance to use it yet but the numbers are in the area of what you are looking for. The link has some replies from some people that have the camera.

I read your thread about this camera and even printed the info on it. Would you be so kind as to let us all know what you think about it once you've had a chance to use it?

I totally know nothing about cameras, just that I want good pics, ease of use and portability.

We paid $800 for an Olympus C-8080 wide zoom that sits in a drawer! I don't want that it happen again!
