Looking for opinions on making a reservation

We currently have reservations for AKV for the end of August. We are going to have a 12 night stay checking out of Sept. 1. Since we are SSR owners we have to book at the 7 month window. We are also looking to split our stay and switch over to BWV or BCV. We already have 10 of the nights booked at AKV. If we do go with the split stay we would stay less at AKV. My question is that should we switch the days over that we want now since they are available and hope that the last two days are also available at BWV or BCV...or should we just wait the two days and see then. We don't want to end up having to switch 2 times. I guess if we knew that they were open we may take a chance and switch now (even though they may not be open tomorrow and the next day when it comes time to book). We are just worried that being labor day weekend that friday night (8/31) may be tough to get. Any opinions would be appreciated.

My personal opinion is to not do a switch. We've done them before and have decided that the pain of packing, dealing with food, unpacking, etc. aren't worth it. We like to move in and have our home for the entire stay.

You will find others with different opinions...the biggest advantage of moving resorts is to have a different experience.
