Just wondering if anyone has ever camped in a Browning brand tent or a Cabela's brand tent? We just bought a Browning big cabin/dome tent & it is the highest we've paid for a tent, but decided to pay a little more after our BRAND NEW COLEMAN GUARANTEED to keep us dry DIDN'T last year at FW. I can't find any reviews on it yet as it was a new model tent this year--it is called the Browning Palisade cabin/dome tent--so if anyone has this or knows someone who does, can you tell me their experiences--especially the rain protection? Thanks!! :)

I haven't camped in a Cabela's tent but when I was camping in Alaska, I ran across a few people who were using them. So I am assuming they hold up very well....it was raining a lot.

Good luck with your new tent!

If you do a search on this board about rain you will find some helpful threads about keeping dry. I can't remeber all the tips, just that your underlay tarp should be the exact size/shape of your tent with none sticking out because it will channel water under your tent and soak everything.

Thanks everyone! :wave2: I'll be better prepared than ever now with the great info you all have! :disrocks:
