looking for one of those mini hand-held camcorders like the Flip

Any suggestions? I have looked at the Flip and Kodak but just don't know which would be the best. I checked reviews on both and there are pros and cons to all of them and just don't know which to choose.

I can't review for you. But I did the same research you did and finally just made the decision to get the flip. It should be in soon. So I will let you know.

I got a Flip before our Disney cruise this year and love it. The software automatically installs when you connect it to the computer, then you can edit the video, make a movie, upload straight to You Tube, Facebook, etc. There is a waterproof case available, too, that allows you to do underwater shooting.

My office purchased a "knockoff" brand and it is not nearly as easy to use as the Flip is.

I just bought the pink flip for my DD for Christmas from HSN. It came with a little tripod. Not sure if she's going to use it, but since shipping was only $2.99 for express (standard shipping was free) so I can get it in time, it's worth it to me.

I have the Kodak Vi6 and I love it....

I just saw the new version of it on slickdeals for $129...I liked it better than the flip b/c I can use a emmory card in it.
