Looking for Oceaneers Club stuff

My son LOVED the Oceaneers club when we were on board last week. The child from the other family that we were traveling with got a lunch bag with a water bottle when they checked out and gave back their beeper- but we checked out later & didn't get one ... my little guy would sure love one. If anyone has one they would be willing to part with - or other Oceaneer Club stuff, please email me at ljcarbone@hotmail.com.

I'd send you ours but my son won't part with it. When we got ours last Friday night, there were boxes of them under the check out desk. Maybe if you email them, they can send you one.

They now only give the gifts away if the children participate in a certain number of the activities in the program, so you probably will not get far by asking DCL for them.

Hopefully you'll find someone with an extra who is willing to share.

I thought that's why they were giving the bags to the kids- for participating... and my son went to the club for a bit ALMOST EVERY DAY!!!! He LOVED it! He would BEG to go!... I actually had to BRIBE him with a swim in the pool one afternoon to get him out of the club! The counselors knew him by name (one even stopped him in the hallway).... he participated a LOT!

The other little boy that we were traveling with didn't like the club & was hardly there- and he got a bag! I am absolutely CERTAIN that the other boy was never there at a time that my son wasn't there... so it is SUCH a bummer that my guy didn't get one- we went late on the last night to drop off the beeper & I think that's why we missed out (who knew we had to get there early!)...

I REALLY hope that I'll be able to find one for him.

I never heard of a give away if you went to the clubs a certain amount of times, and we were there last week. Do they tell the kids about it, because my kids didn't know.

My kids went multiple times each day. the only day they didn't go was on St. Thomas day, and the only reason they didn't go that night was because they were showing Treasure Planet in the Walt Disney theatre, and the kids club didn't go.

They don't realize they missed anything, and I won't tell them, but it would have been nice to have something with the club logo on it. They would have really liked it!

Didn't the kids recieve their gift after their performance on the last night on the ship. My daughter caught strep the day before, so she didn't attend. She also did not receive anything from DCL.

My daughter received a t-shirt for attending the kids show. I didn't see anyone with lunch bags or water bottles.

I did read somewhere (in the Navigator?) while we were onboard in Jan that children who participated in the activities listed with a particular symbol next to it (Mickey face?) would receive a gift. You could have participated during that day, but not been there for the designated activity.

My DD5 already has 2 t-shirts from the "I Discovered the Magic" show, so I really wasn't concerned about her getting anything this trip. I didn't see any lunch bags and water bottles floating around the ship, but this could have been the gift for participation.

My suggestion: Don't stress over it! Hopefully the wonderful memories you created during your trip with your little guy will long outlast any ol' lunchbag would have.
