same color shirts sounds a little obsessive/compulsive, but honestly much of this board sounds that way to me.. Sorry, but I think that cruise is awesome and am really looking forward to it, but when is enough enough? And have any of you OCD planners been disappointed since everything didn't go exactly as you planned? i.e. your DS wore the wrong underwear on the 2nd day at sea day?

Color me crazy, but I say (to some of you) get a life..

Come on KLDESQ, You must have a little OCD to be reading and posting on these boards!

I agree that the angst that is conveyed by some of us can seem somewhat obsessive, but when spending big bucks on a family vacation, I think we all have a right to TRY to insure we have the best time possible. Time spent all together as a family should be enjoyed to the fullest, since, as we’ve all learned in this past year, life can be too short. As far as “getting a life” my family is my life, and their enjoyment gives me great pleasure.

With regards to the same colored shirts, our family group of 11 did this last July. Not only was it an easy way to keep track of the kids, it was fun to do. I’m not sure if we will do this with just the 4 of us this year.

I’m not too concerned that things won’t go “exactly” as I’ve planned. If they don’t I personally won’t be disappointed. Hey – I’m with my family, on a beautiful ship, I don’t have to cook, dust, vacuum, do the dishes, go to work, deal with traffic…, Once I’m on board, I “go with the flow!”

Will you be on the 11/9 cruise? I hope whatever cruise you are on, you will have a wonderful time!

P.S. I’d only really get upset if DH decided to wear MY underwear when we were at sea – He’s only allowed to wear it when we are in port!! (LOL!)

I g with the flow but it is nice to be informed. I never even knew you could eat breakfast woth characters in the castle until I found these boards.
I wanted to do the same color shirt thing for our embarkation photo. I saw several of these when we cruised last year and they looked so cool. Not sure if I can get DH to go along though.

Bob I say go for it.It looks awesome AND if one of you is standing in line while the rest relaz or watch the tv you will spot your party easier.

OK, I'm going to stand on my front porch for the next week, waiting for the Fed-ex man! We booked our air through DCL, so our documents will probably be arriving later. Bummer. I can't believe we only have 6 weeks until we cruise.

Ah geeze, now my feelings are hurt, Guess life is more exciting in Nebraska. It must be those world bank protest idiots here in Washington DC that have me trying to escape reality for a few minutes of the day, or no maybe its the fact that I am on a plane several times a month and wondering if it will be my last trip.

I have a life thank you very much. As a matter of fact it is a really nice one.

This will be my last pass at this. My comments were (partially) in jest. Honestly, I have learned several facts through this board that I found useful..

However, I think (and in your heart of hearts most of you have to agree with me) that if you obsess about each and every detail it is probably makes the trip somewhat anti-climactic and even a downer.

Look at some of the posts, they doubtless represent OCD per se. My overall point is that this board seems to have become the central element of your life at the moment. Be spontaneous and the ship and you'll (probably) have a more enjoyable time...

Oh, and so that it's documented my documents arrived today, via Fedex at 10:23 (and 20 seconds) the Fedex guy was wearing blue shorts and a white shirt..
