Looking for new guide....any recommendations?

Judy Kauffman has always treated us with dignity and respect. I would refer her with very high regards.

I don't want to name my guide publicly, but he is horrible. First name begins with an "A" and his sales technique involved telling us repeatedly that DVC was a gift from Disney to its regular visitors to make life easier for us. He kept saying that Disney DIDN'T want us to sign on to DVC as we were essentially ripping Disney off. He said that Disney would be happier if we didn't buy, but that they were offering us this option to thank us for our patronage.

So, if your guide has a first name that begins with an "A" and if he throws that line of garbage at you, run for the hills. We are glad that we purchased, but the further away I got from that interaction the more I wished that I stopped the process and asked for another guide immediately.

We enjoy working with Steve Tinn. We have done four add-ons at this point, and found him each time to be:

- Gracious
- Easy Going
- True to his word
- informative
- timely

Steve has always left a message on our villa phone each time we visit The World, offering his services or help with anything we may need. Steve has worked with us in defining exactly what we may want to do, made suggestions for us to consider, brought new ideas to the table.

No, he is not my cousin. (But consider him anyways)

I can recommend Hubert also. He is nice without hassling us and was very professional and forthcoming when we added on. We usually get a nice "Welcome Home" call, too. I think anyone would like working with him.:thumbsup2
