My 4-year old niece is a big Mulan fan. On our last trip, we never saw her once - not even in China. Any advice on the best place to catch her? I read once that there was a phone number you could call to ask where a particular character would be each day? Still true?

Thanks :earsgirl:

In November we saw Mulan in China ...that was the only place we saw her. :goodvibes

We saw Mulan and Mushu two separate days at the entrance plaza at Disney-MGM Studios. Good luck! I don't know about the phone number, but I believe cast members can call to find out which char's will be where and when.

Thanks, Bobenna. Was she listed in the daily schedule of events or was it just a hit and miss. I know some people have also seen her at the Norway Storybook breakfast, but she wasn't there when we were.

Also, does anyone know if you can buy a Mulan costume at WDW? I don't think they are available any longer at the Disney Store or Disney online. We are going in late January.

THANKS again

If I remember correctly we heard she was in China and when we went there we asked someone and they told us the time she would be there. I do know that in front of the countries they have a list of what goes on for the day - I think characters are also on the list - hope this helps!!

Be sure to catch the MGM Stars in Motor Cars Parade. Mulan has a car in that, so even if you can't get around to meeting her, at least she can be seen

We got to meet her at the Princess Breakfast in Norway but nowhere else in the park. We saw Mushu in China this past Thanksgiving week.

We saw Mulan at the Princess Storybook breakfast in Norway.

Both Mulan and Musha were in China while we were there last week.

And (gasp...I'm scandelous....so reader beware) - Mulan was actually Asian this time! My husband and I both were surprised because in past trips she has not been of Asian descent. During one of our first trips my big mouth DS (4 or 5 at the time) kept asking "what happened to Mulan - she looks whiter now?"

I tell you...these kids are ruining Disney!!! ;)

We're going in February and would love to see Mulan. My DD3 is adopted from China and really likes Mulan. I think that the character of Mulan is a good, positive image for any girl, but especially girls of Asian heritage.

We too saw her and Mushu in China last week. They were right outside the entrance to the movie. There was no one in line for her, I think a lot of people didn't even notice her.

We met Mulan for the first time this trip. She was in the Character Connection room at Epcot. We stopped by this room several times during this last trip and it was always different characters so it's worth a check to see who's there even throughout the day if you are looking for someone in particular.

On our trip in Oct, DD3 spent about 20 min with Mulan. It was the best! She and my daughter sat down and had a chat...and we waited for someone to show up! As soon as they did we left, then we got called back after the kids left and spoke some more, thats when dd3 opened up and started yapping.

It was sooooo wonderful and Mulan herself was so great.

This was in China.

We saw both Mulan and Mushu in China last week. They were on the left side of the entrance to the movie and were not listed in the times guide. We ran into them by mistake and there wasn't a line at all!

I seen Mulan recently by the circular red building at China, I think that must be the entrance to the China show. She was against the building, so you really have to look for her if you are coming around the main sidewalk around World Showcase! We saw her in the mid to late afternoon I think. :)

To those who seen her at the entrance to MGM - was that recently?? I have not seen any good characters at MGM in a long time!

This past Sunday around 1pm she was all alone outside the Temple of Heaven. We had a nice chat with her.....

Hope that you find her!

Thanks to all. My niece is also adopted from China. Mulan has a special place in her heart! It sounds like we will just have to camp out in China and hope for the best. We will also try the Character Connection and the entrance to MGM. We have reservations for CRT this time, so we won't be able to catch her at the Norway breakfast.
