Anyone know where I can find Mr. Potato Head? I want to get 2 for my girls for our trip in Sept to fill the heads as suggested on mousesavers, but I have had a difficult time finding him. I have been looking for him at my local walmart and target and I have not found him at either. I admit I have only tried about 2 or 3 targets and walmart and before I drive all around Atlanta I would hoping someone could steer me in the right direction. Thanks to anyone who can :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Wow! I can't believe you can't find a Mr. Potato Head! They should definately sell them at Walmart in the toy section. They usually have him in a suitcase with a bunch of parts. But since you have tried there with no luck, they will definately have them at a Toys R Us!

If you are just looking for the bodies and you have a local thrift store/goodwill/etc., try there. Ours always has these in the toy section! Or you can always check ebay!

Kroger? Big Lots? I've seen him both places. The ones at walmart are usually with the toddler toys and are in plastic suitcases. At target you might even look in the star wars section because ours have Darth Tater right now. He was only $8.

Walmart, Toys R Us , Target all carry Mr Potato Head. You can always go online to to order it - shipping is usually fast. I just picked one up at our local Chuck e Cheese - he was in the ticket redemption area ( 300 tickets) but the guy gave it to us with 200 because my daughter really wanted it.

If you have time - yard sales are always a good place to look or any resale childrens shops.

Good LUck

Walmart has the Potato head suitcase (Potato head with other parts) for 14.88 I checked there and Toysrus.com and couldn't find the plain potato head. Good Luck in your search :)

I saw a bucket for $12.99 last night at target that came with two big potato heads and one of the small ones and a bunch of the parts...the whole potato family. ::MickeyMo

Maybe it's just me but I looked in the Star Wars section in Target and no look and also I found a Mr. Potato Head with Play Doh and Lord knows we do not need anymore Play Doh, still picking the old stuff out of the carpet :rotfl: . I think I will just order online from target or walmart. Thanks for the many suggestions, I never thought to try toysrus. Thanks again.

I work for the company that makes him and we just launched a site where you can buy the toys directly www.hasbrotoyshop.com. You should be able to find it there.

if your looking for darth tater which i think is so cute,he is in the star wars section in the toy dept in walmart.

Where I live, I've had a hard time finding Mr. Potato Head. I finally found one in Walmart. He was one of only 3. (someone stole my Mr. Potato Head from my office and I needed to replace him). Darth Tator is impossible to find around me.

Hey, Tiff211!!
Thanks for posting about that Hasbro site.
My son has been looking for Battle B Daman for weeks around here with no luck.
Now I ordered them from that site. He's so happy. :cool1:
I got a Darth Tater, too. :)

WHy do you need to get Mr. Potato Head in advance? They have the heads at the store in Downtown Disney. I think Mary is suggesting that you should get the head there and then fill the inside of it with the parts they have there. (by filling the head at the store you get more for your money. Then you can also fill the rest of the box with other parts.

Yeah, I know but my DD 5 has been wanting one since we were in Disney last year and I thought it would be fun to get her one now and we can get the extra pieces when we go to Disney.

Thanks tiff for the tip, I found it yesterday at Target for $4.99 only 2 left, just what I needed. They played with them for over an hour last night and my DD 5 reminded me that Disney has parts as well ( I tell you that child has a memory like an elephant...LOL) thanks again for your help.

We bought the Potato Head in WDW, but we wish that we had bought the potato head at Walmart before. Our Walmart has the Potato Head for $5.99. If we had bought the head before the trip, then we could have gotten many more special Disney parts in the box, rather than having space taken up by the head. We got quite a few parts, but there were others that DD wanted that we just could not get to fit.

Also to the OP, I don't know if you have a Big Lots store near you, but I was in our local Big Lots the other day and also had the potato head for $5.99.

Good luck. DD plays with her Potato Head all the time.
