Hi all,

I made the sausage cheese balls one time using a different recipe and of course I can't find it now. The difference was that you cooked the sausage before you mixed it with the cheese and bisquick and that got rid of a LOT of the grease. Then you were supposed to mix it up and cook it like in the little muffin pans. Does anyone else have this version of this recipe? Thanks in advance.

By the way, I don't post on here often but I do read this board daily (sometimes twice) and enjoy the info.

1 pound sausage
3 cups biscuit/baking mix
4 cups shredded cheddar cheese
3/4 cup water

In a skillet, cook and crumble sausage until no longer pink. Drain. In a bowl, combine biscuit mix and cheese. Stir in sausage. Add water and toss with fork until moistened. Shape into 1 1/2 inch balls. Place 2 inches apart on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 400 for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire racks.
