Looking for Mickey Mouse Club "stuff"....

OK, here's the deal.

My stepfather is from Australia. As a young kid, he attempted to apply to join the Mickey Mouse Club...but, the address given during the shows was the US Address. Instead of being given membership, he got a letter basically telling him the club was for US residents only. He was crushed.

Fast forward to about...oh, 3 weeks ago...when he told us this story AFTER we had mentioned buying into DVC. My wife and I really want to do something "special" and pass along a little Disney magic and I'm hoping some of the readers of this forum can help.

I'm looking for some information and possibly pictures, of just what people recieved when they joined the Mickey Mouse Club, back in the 30's and 40's. Anything that could help me and my wife "assemble" a MMC membership packet for him. I've got the ears covered, but any pictures of buttons, the official membership card, etc that people could provide would be great!

I suggest doing a google search for the Mickey Mouse Club. And also check ebay. You'll find stuff for sale and can possibly print the pictures from there.

There are also a couple of books out there about the Mickey Mouse Club and the Mouseketeers. Check Amazon.com for titles and then try to find them in the library.
