Are there any stores with good prices on these this weekend? It hit me suddenly in Target today that this would be a really good gift for our nephew and I seem to remember seeing them in some ad or another. Anyone know where? I did pick up a 70 piece set for around $18, but if I can do better, I will return it.

I know Toys r us have buy one get one free. I got a similar item - don't think it's that name brand but it is the same exact thing - at BJ's. It's 293 pieces (called Magnabild) and comes with it's own carrying case for $29.99. They also have the magnetix at ACMoore and if you have their weekly 40% off coupon I'm sure you can get what you want.

If you can still get out today, use your 60% off coupon at AC Moore.

The deal at Toys R Us is a good one. BOGOF. You can even use the printable $5 off a $25 purchase coupon that is on another thread on the Budget Board.

I got the big set there with the straights and 2 other shapes, normally $45 for under $20. The other option is the 150 piece set with coupon for about $8

Walgreens of all places had a great deal on a 100 piece Magnetix set. It was 14.99 plus you get a 5.00 rebate. I think the rebate was only good for today but the 14.99 price is good for 2 days.

I got a 100 piece set at Walgreens this morning for $9.99 after rebate. It was $16 with tax before rebate. Walgreens is usually good about actually paying rebates.

Check Ebay for magnetic construction kits... there are other ones out there like Webz, Magz and Skrooz. I was looking at some Skrooz the other day.

You can get them from Michael's as well and use the coupon from the paper each Sunday for 40 - 50% off.

Ah ha! That works for me! Thanks. Never heard of AC More and since I have been out shopping twice today and the nearest Walgreens is quite a ways away, I was really struggling with that one. If I can go to Michaels just one of these weeks, that will work better and not add stress to my life.

Thanks for all the ideas! I did like the idea of the BOGO at TRU, but I was trying to stay under $20 for each of the nephew and niece gifts.

I saw a set at Costco today. It actually has 4 smaller boxes inside. Two 100 pieces and 2 70 pieces if I remember right. The price is $40, and there is a coupon for $12 off today.
